Christmas Activities

December is here…so the countdown begins until the robust red fella pops into our homes with a sack full of goodies for those that behaved.  For many, Christmas is a well-earned break; a time to spend with family and friends and reflect on the year that was and the year ahead.  Some of you will be going away no doubt; but many of you will be staying home…and when you live in such an amazing part of the world, why not?

There are many activities around the entire Sunshine Coast to celebrate the festive season; below are just a few in the Coolum area that may be of interest:

December 14 @ 7pm – Coolum’s Christmas in the Park:

Coolum’s Christmas in the Park is a great night of carols and people getting together to celebrate Christmas; the annual Christmas in the Park celebrations will be held Saturday evening (December 14th) in Jack Morgan Park.   The popular carols by candlelight event attracts a large crowd and is hosted by the Coolum Christian Family Church and sponsored by many local businesses. It is an evening where people can come aside from the rush of the season to sit and relax while joining in on some great carol singing and entertainment all in the true spirit of Christmas!
