Open Homes Back on the Agenda

Firstly, we hope that all the mothers out there had a wonderful mother’s day and got the opportunity to spend time with your family, if possible; or at the very least have some contact via social media interactive platforms like Zoom or facetime, or a telephone call.  It is very important that we all stay connected with our loved ones, despite the challenging environment we are currently living in.

From last Saturday, real estate agents across Queensland can operate open for inspections again, within some strict guidelines, including no more than six people inside at a time (including the selling agent) with no more than one person per four square metres; and ensuring social distancing and hygiene rules are adhered to.  From Friday May 15, the numbers are increased to 10, and include the conducting of Public Auctions.

However, it is critical that anyone who is feeling unwell to stay away, and also that viewing parties refrain from touching anything. Private inspections by appointment, are still encouraged as the preferred method in the context of the current environment.

As always, at Wright Place, we value the trust our sellers place in us when they list their property; and always endeavour to ensure that any inspections are dealt with in the most respectful and professional manner. We also try to establish if the buyers are qualified/genuine, prior to arranging a private inspection.

It is encouraging to see an ease in restrictions and some reestablishment of our freedoms; let us all work together to move forward safely and be mindful of the bigger picture.  Thank you to our health care workers and other essential service workers for all your efforts.
